I produce, mix and write records. I spent my teens, through to my mid twenties, playing and writing in bands, and was fortunate enough to work with and learn from, some of the most talented producers, songwriters, musicians and managers in the music industry. Having enjoyed some success, including two record deals, a publishing deal, and an Official UK Top 40 Single, I decided to change direction and produce for others.

I quickly felt at home producing for artists and bands. I was young, hungry, and full of ideas (and myself!). Writing parts and arrangements had always come naturally, and I had a way of getting the best performances from musicians.

Mixing came later as it is very much an art form in its own right. I spent a few years honing my skills before I was prepared to put myself forward to mix projects.

I now work on a range of projects, for a wide range of clients. From artists bringing their material to life for their own enjoyment, through to world renowned executive producers. Genres I’ve worked in mostly are rock, singer-songwriter, indie and pop. I’ve also worked in jazz, classical and folk.

I appreciate how it feels as an artist to put your faith in others to help bring your songs to life. My role is to understand the client’s vision before production begins, and to collaborate in maximising the project’s potential.

As a multi-instrumentalist, I’m able to complete most solo artists’ projects without hiring musicians, but do have access to some incredible musicians if needed.

If you have a project you’re interested in me producing and/or mixing, don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Some highlights have been having my work played on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 2, ITV, Sky Television, used at the SSE Wembley Arena, and released on vinyl and DVD.

‘The whole personality,

feel, emotion, and quality of recorded

music passes through the hands

(and most importantly the hearts and souls)

of the producers and engineers,

They can make the entire difference of the

way the music affects the listeners…

Our careers depend on this recognition.’
